SAEINDIA is India's leading resource for mobility technology. As an individual member driven society of mobility practitioners, the ownership of SAEINDIA wrests with its members who are Individuals from the mobility community, which includes Engineers, Executives from Industry, Government Officials, Academics and Students.SAEINDIA is an affiliate society of SAE International registered in India as an Indian nonprofit engineering and scientific society dedicated to the advancement of mobility industry in India.

About SAEINDIA VNIT Collegeiate Club

Formed in 2009.
The club comprises of 150+ members from different branches.
Faculty Advisor: Dr. A.B. Andhare.
Co-Faculty Advisor: Mr. Nitin Lautre.

Mission

To enhance the knowledge base of members who are mobility practitioners within India.
To provide to its members access to SAE International programs and services globally enabling them to practice world class standard in productivity and quality.
To develop technical and scientific reports and engineering standards for the benefit of mankind.
To provide a forum for members to informally exchange views and ideas.

Purpose

Providing its members opportunities to gain broader insight into the engineering profession.
Sponsoring meetings that will bring practicing engineers to the campus.
Arranging field trips to research & engineering establishments.
Sponsoring student projects, and participating in local, national and international SAE activities.

Achievements

Participated in Supra SAEINDIA 2012.

A team of 25 members designed and fabricated a Formula car which won 2nd in Cost Report.
They were shortlisted among top 45 teams from India.
The event was held at Buddh International Circuit, Noida.

Participated in Supra SAEINDIA 2011

A team of 30 members designed and fabricated a Formula car which won the fastest formula car of the year.
They were shortlisted among top 45 teams from India.
The event was held at Madras Racing Track at Chennai.
They toped the acceleration test and won the prize.
